Quartly Round Up 2018

This year we have hit the ground running with new members of the team, countless placements and new clients. The first half of 2018 has been focused on company growth and development and we feel we have made fantastic progress whilst still managing to find the best talent for our clients and partners.

Our first Partners Golf Day

This year we hosted our first partners day at the Old thorns golf club where we invited some of of clients to an intimate, relaxed day of golf, food and networking. A great day was had by all. A little note from Paul: “I’m delighted to say that by all accounts our inaugural Oakstone Golf Day was an unmitigated success! Our partners arrived, our playing team arrived, the organisers arrived and thankfully so did the weather! The venue turned out to be a great success with the course in superb condition and despite some of us oldies needing respirators after one or two of the hills I believe we were all delighted with how it played – even if not all of us were delighted with how we played! Nothing new there. Some new acquaintances were made and some existing ones renewed and strengthened. I think it’s fair to say that we all had an enjoyable and productive morning – those who came have said they will come next year so we hope a few additional people that were unable to join this year will also come along and take use of a fun and valuable opportunity to connect with industry peers.”

This Years New Starters

This year we have welcomed 3 new starters, Managing Consultant, Dan Hammond-Smith, Consultant, Tom Fennell and assistant, Becky Robson. We have also got a new starter next month who we be joining Dan’s team in the Poole office.

In addition to the new members of the team, we have a special team member who has joined us this year. German Shepherd puppy, Kuga who belongs to Oakstone CEO, Paul Rayner will be joining us on special occasions in the Poole office.
