This Oakstone client pioneered big data before the term became widely used – creating real time operational intelligence software that can be implemented in a huge range of applications.

Technology that started out as a means of predicting IT server overload can now be used to monitor and forecast human behaviour.

Core verticals include communications, energy and utilities, financial services, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, non-profit, online services, public sector and retail.

This big data analytics solution is headquartered in San Francisco with EMEA offices in London, Reading, Dubai, Munich, Paris and Stockholm.


Big data was still in its infancy when this company first approached Oakstone. Few had heard of it and fewer still understood its far-reaching potential to disrupt markets and transform society.

The software’s immense power, its ability to process so much information in real time seemed more like science fiction than a technological fact of life in the 21st century.

This client had 20 executives in its London office. It needed a further 50 people (within 12 months) for the UK, Germany, France and Sweden.

They would have to be extremely high quality sales people capable of educating markets about the incredible power and potential of this company’s big data technology.


This client is recognised and lauded as a pioneer at the cutting edge of big data, sparking comparisons with the rise of Google. The company joined the NASDAQ in 2012 following a highly successful IPO.
