Customer data software company Tealium offers a Universal Data Hub – a single approach to connecting data across teams, vendors and touchpoints in real time.
San Diego headquartered, it has positioned itself as a leader in solutions including tag management and unified marketing.
Its technology includes omnichannel segmentation plus a suite of rich data services for web, mobile, offline and IoT.
The company is led by pioneers in marketing analytics, content delivery and SaaS – and backed by venture investors Bain Capital, Battery Ventures, Georgian partners, Presidio Ventures and Tenaya Capital.
Tealium needed to source key sales leaders and other executives to drive growth in the UK and Europe and to educate markets about the strategic advantages its sophisticated technology could deliver.
In the last two years Oakstone has provided Tealium with 15 executives across Europe including sales leaders, pre-sales, partner managers, SDR managers and sales development representatives.
Oakstone divisional director and managing consultant Steve Farr said: “This was not an overnight process – we had to educate the market about Tealium and its technology.
“We were very rigorous with our approach and our methodology in order to get leading executives interested and wanting to be part of Tealium.
“We had to sell them a vision of where Tealium wanted to be – rather than where the company had been previously,” he added.
Europe has been the best performing region for Tealium for the third year running. It now represents around a fifth of the company’s global market.
Growth in Europe was 44 per cent – contributing to 66 per cent growth for the overall company.
Tealium GM EMEA Lindsay McEwan said: “I have worked with Oakstone for the past eight years now and they consistently find great talent for us for each and every challenging role that we give them.
“What I like most is that they are a truly client-focused executive search agency.
“They will always get the right specification before they start any search. They take the heavy lifting off us by understanding our culture, requirements and timescales and producing a shortlist which is usually very hard to pick from.
“In an overcrowded market it’s sometimes disheartening working with search firms that spray the market looking for candidates.
“Oakstone is a selective business which gives us only the best candidates in line with our requirements.”
